H. Carlo, who is a “viveur” and how would you define his style?
Viveur, is who lives the worldliness. Everyone who needs to live fully life to draw inspiration and ideas, looking every day for new challenges.
But our “viveur” doesn’t only live the worldliness, he finds time for himself - the quality time needed to enjoy the small pleasures of life.
Viveur Sunglasses express the right mix of vintage-inspired elegance and street style, giving everyone the possibility, with the variety of shapes and colours, to best express his personality and his idea of“viveur”.
H. How did the “Viveur” project start?
The idea of Viveur Sunglasses was born holding a pair of glasses bought in a vintage fair: we forgot of everything else and started to fantasize about the former owner of the glasses, and we started dreaming to create modern-revisited old-fashion-style sunglasses.
H. Who or what inspires Carlo for his designs?
I'm inspired by vintage forms, not only sunglasses, and by all that is design. The emotions aroused in me by these elements, forge and feed my creativeness in design: I then simply take a pen a paper and start to draw...
H. Carlo tell our readers the secret to choose the right pair of sunglasses!
Surely it is important to choose the right shades to suit your needs, character and personality ...
I believe there is not really a secret or a trick, but I would recommend people when they try a pair of glasses to really feel it comfortable and to feel at ease with it.
H. Materials, quality and design. What else makes a perfect pair of glasses?
Materials are very important in the creation; the customer must be satisfied with the quality not only when buying the glasses but even after years.
Nevertheless sometimes even the imperfection on the faces makes perfect eyewear.
H. Who would you like see wearing your glasses?
Not necessarily a famous actor or a celebrity: I feel a good vibe when people from the “street” is wearing one of my creations.
H. The corner (bar or restaurant) of your city you like most, your favourite holiday, the book that everyone must read.
